I recently found a Doctor in Sydney who tested her for
absolutely everything, including peforming a saliva test (for cortisol
and DHEAS levels throughout the day), a blood cortisol test and a 24
hour urinary test (for cortisol levels). The first indicated low
cortisols and DHEAS due to the adrenal glands not functioning properly.
On the 24 hour Urinary test it showed the Urinary Free Cortisol was in
the lower limits of what is normal. On the blood test it also should
that it was on the lower limits of what is normal. It also showed when I
had a Glucose test that my blood sugar level did not rise at all, like a
normal person would have. The doctor looked at the results as a whole,
rather than just looking at whether they were below or above the limits.
He then decided to treat me with Cortisol supplements, Thryroid
supplements as that was on the lower limits, DHEA cream, and vitamins (zink, vitamin C, iron). I highly recommend that a medical doctor
who tests you with a saliva test for example, not just a blood test, is
the right doctor. He was searching for the organic cause of the
condition I suffer as a result of ETS surgery. The surgery has affected
the way my Adrenal Glands function. Hence, since ETS surgery I do have the energy to do basic things, nor have I had normal emotional highs
and lows. I have to say I feel a life force coming back to me since i've
started on this intensive program.
